Laser Rosacea Treatments

Pulsed Dye Laser for Rosacea
One common laser based treatment for Rosacea is the Pulsed Dye Laser. Many of the signs of rosacea — flushing, persistent redness, and visible blood vessels - respond well to the Pulsed Dye Laser. Studies show that after just one treatment, every patient in the study experienced significant improvement. With two treatments, redness decreased by 40% to 60%. Patients also reported reductions in flushing, burning, itching, dryness, swelling, and sensitivity.

Cellulite Therapy PhotoELOS Photofacials for Rosacea
ELOS photofacials combine pulsed light and gentle electrical Radio Frequency current to treat a number of skin conditions such as rosacea, spider veins, skin imperfections, age spots and uneven skin tones. Systems like the Aurora ELOS systems can improve many of the problems associated with Rosacea, spider vessels on the nose, flushing and redness.

IPL Photofacials for Rosacea
Many patients seeking to treat Rosacea find one of the most common procedures is the IPL photofacial. IPL is short for Intensed Pulsed Light. The IPL system was developed specifically for the treatment of benign vascular lesions, such as facial telangiectasia. It was soon recognized that this technology could be effective in relieving the redness and flushing of the face and chest associated with rosacea.

Laser Acne Treatments

Smoothbeam Laser for Acne
Smoothbeam is a laser clinically proven to target acne at the root cause - sebaceous glands & follicles on the face & chest. Because the Smoothbeam actually alters the function of the oil-producing sebaceous glands, active acne is greatly reduced. Studies found a 75 percent reduction in the number of acne lesions in all subjects after the final Smoothbeam treatment. Additionally, acne scarring was improved by 26-50 percent in all patients studied post treatment.

Aramis Laser for Acne
Similar to the Smoothbeam laser, the Aramis laser also targets sebaceous glands. The Aramis laser uses a patented wavelength to penetrate the skin’s layers to the sebaceous glands. The laser thermally alters the reactors in the sebaceous gland, reducing oil and bacteria production, decreasing the size of the gland and the incidence of acne.

Blu-U Acne Light for Acne
Blu-U utilizes blue light which selectively activates photosensitizers within the P.acnes bacteria that cause acne. This creates a toxic bactericidal environment in the sebaceous gland that inhibits the obstruction of the sebaceous follicle with the resulting formation of acne lesions.

Fraxel Laser Skin Treatments

Fraxel Laser Treatment improves both the top layers of skin by reducing wrinkles and pigmented lesions such as sun spots and age spots, as well as affecting the deeper skin layers by giving the supporting tissue a boost to help the skin feel softer, smoother and tighter.

The Fraxel laser combines the best of laser technology with the science of cosmetic dermatology. Side effects are minimal, with little risk of infection or scarring. The Fraxel laser treatment is an incision-free procedure that leaves your skin more youthful looking.
